July 4, 2026 will mark a milestone date in the history of the USA! Guests Matthew Carter and Frank Sachs join host Bill Raker to discuss the plans and programs the Dakota County Historical Society (DCHS) has underway for celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America.

They provide an overview to the events scheduled for the Mall of America July 3 – 5, and to the 14-part presentation series related to the founding of the U.S. and its legal system. DCHS is also inviting interested parties to the Lawshe Museum for a Genealogy Workshop Series providing opportunities to research one’s ancestry More details are available at dakotahistory.org.
