Looking for assistance with groceries, transportation, home support? There’s “Help at Your Door”! Guest Karen Cotch describes, for host Bill Raker and ATD viewers, how the non-profit organization provides services for seniors and people with disabilities, helping them maintain their independence and their ability to continue living in their homes.
In January 2017, “Store To Door” became “Help At Your Door” (HAYD). The organization’s vision is a community where aging is a positive experience. HAYD’s service area includes Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Scott, Ramsey and Washington counties.
Some 400 volunteers work with the HAYD staff to deliver services and support to hundreds of individuals throughout the Metro area. Karen explains how you can request services, or how you can support HAYD in achieving its mission.
