(8-22-2025)   [Steve francisco]

Dale Turner, President and CEO of TruStone Financial Credit Union, joins host Steve Francisco to discuss how TruStone began in 1925 and has grown to have 220,000 members in Minnesota and Wisconsin with $5.6 billion in assets.

Dale explains some of the key differences between credit unions and commercial banks (e.g. member owned vs. shareholder owned for profit) and how these differences benefit credit union members.

TruStone offers a broad range of financial products and services to its members, including educational opportunities on home buying, budgeting, and investments.

Dale notes TruStone’s priority of protecting members’ financial information through big investments in online security. TruStone is also an active participant in the community as well, through its HERO Program and sponsorship of the Minnesota State High School League, Toys for Tots, Second Harvest, and our own program, “Access to Democracy.”

This interview provides fresh insights into TruStone’s operating ethos of “people helping people.”
