9-28-2018 Roger New, Eagan Police Chief
ROGER NEW was recently promoted from Deputy Chief to Chief of the Eagan Police Department, replacing retiring Chief Jim McDonald. In his first interview with Access to Democracy as Chief, he discussed his almost 25 years on the force as he moved up in rank, and his plans for the future. With a new state of the art headquarters due for completion in 2019, the facility is designed to meet the increasing needs of policing in the IT age.
