  In two weeks, Congress will leave on its annual August vacation (i.e., just like the Iraqi parliament, by the way) which is a big mistake.  Every time they’re out of session, Bush and his crime family manage to make some back-door move or appointment, circumventing the Constitution.  Their perfidy knows no bounds.   Better, Congress should forego the time off, stay in session and protect the nation.

    Speaker Nancy Pelosi stated, several months back, that Impeachment was “off the table.”  With recent events, one can only question, why?  Impeachment proceedings (pick your favorite high crime or misdemeanor) may be the only way to get the attention of the White House.  Call Nancy Pelosi’s office, and demand that your voice is heard.  202-225-0100, and leave a message on her voicemail that she expresses the will of the majority, and of the Ellisons, Kucinichs, Feingolds, and legislators of courage.   That’s 202-225-0100.
